The bank served as a sponsor of two affordable housing program loans through the Federal Home Loan Bank. We did not prepare documents (done by a consulting firm) but served as an intermediary whereby funds needed to pay various aspects of the project were deposited into our FHLB account and we issued the checks to satisfy contractors. Will this count for CD?

Yes it would count as a CD service. Track your number of hours spent on the project, both in submission (if you helped at all) or throughout the administration of the sponsored project. You will have significant hours to follow on this deal You also carry significant risks. This should be highlighted in your CD Services section when exam time comes around.

(But if you highlight, be sure you understand why....many don't understand the risks of these deals. If you haven't educated yourself on that, do so before you write it up)
