I know loans over $1 million are not reported. If XYZ Company has 2 loans with us, one for $600,000 and one for $500,000, do we not report either because the aggregate is over $1 million?

We are not to aggregate loans unless the reason for giving 2 loans was to increase number of loans produced

Are these advances under a line of credit?

No - 2 separate term loans. That said, would there be a difference if there were two separate lines of credit with combined available balances of over $1 million, would the answer be different?

No Dave it wouldn't. For call report purposes you roll up the aggregate, but for the CRA LR you do not. If there are two seperate credit committments (notes) you have two seperate loans. Both are reportable (if they meet all other reporting rules of course).

No - but I don't have to do that - I finally changed the process so that my Commercial Credit Department handles the compilation of data and then IT actually submits.
