Okay so I dont play hard to get. I'm too old to play games with someone. All of the girls in the office tell me to play hard to get, but I cant. I dont play games. Thank you for the insight.

What exactly do you mean by "playing hard to get?" I don't believe in acting uninterested, unless I am, but there are other, um, implications.

If by "playing hard to get," you mean "no huggy, no kissy" (i.e. sex) until you get a wedding vow, then "yes." If you find a man who is willing to wait a couple of years until you are married to have "huggy-kissy," then you have found a real man who most likely truly loves you and isn't in the relationship for what he gets out of it.

I'm not very good at playing the, "Dont make yourself so available game." I'm sorry but I go to work, go to the gym, sleep repeat, very exciting. He leads the same exact life that I do, but he's better at playing unavailable.

In reading this thread, I'm scared to death to try dating again. First thing: EGB, you're going to take care of everything? Gotta love that. Second thing: I'm thinking about moving to Boise.

After reading that thread, I have to agree with Blue. Man, if I was any MORE thoughtful and romantic compared to my (ex)wife, I would've questioned my own sexuality, at least based on everyone's stereotypes about guys/girls and their "natural" tendencies.

I'll say with confidence that women are the better "players" and do it more often. Most guys, myself included, have a tendency to wear our hearts on our sleeves while women know there is a problem, and tell someone else about it instead of her boyfriend/husband.

Okay, I'm done. Sending the kids away for Spring Break to be with the grandparents.....that's ONE WHOLE WEEK to practice "playing".

Pup, you will learn a lot from being "lonely.".

A great gal will come along in no time who will love you and your beautiful children. I am too old for you , but after my divorce I would have loved to meet a man with kids becuase I never had any of my own and would make a great mommy.

If you "look" for her, you won't find her. Just enjoy life and live happily then she'll find you.

I have heard that old line so many times "it is when you aren't looking that you will find someone." Baloney. I quit looking a long time ago. I just decided I could enjoy life more without being constantly disappointed by the opposite sex. Guess what, Mr. Wonderful hasn't dropped in. My luck he will show up tomorrow, while I am in my third week of being sick, now it is a sinus infection. Nothing like a stuffed up raw nose and chapped lips to turn a guy on.
