Is it just the handcuffs, Ang??? Actually, as long as it's not the same cop, I will leave you be. Cops can be good people - most are heroes-in-waiting.

I'm not sure what it is. And it is a different cop. After this date though, I'm taking a break like we discussed earlier.

Why the anger today Ang? What happened in 24 hours? Spill - your angel will help you work thru it.

Ok - that makes sense. Ang, you know Jeremy is too good for you. You can't handle/don't want a nice guy who will treat you right ... but the good news is that someday you will want that, and there will still be choices because the world is chock filled with nice guys like Pup and others. It's the bad boys that are harder to find down the road because you never know what rock to look under.

Actually, my favorite alfredo sauce *is* from a jar. It's a brand called Rao's, produced by an excellent Italian restaurant in New York city.
And my favorite quick dish is to combine leftover salmon with smoked salmon into the alfredo sauce and spoon over fresh pasta.

The kids don't like salmon...the boyfriends coming over tongiht and I wanted to make a nice dinner. The chances of me finding Rao's alfredo sauce in my tiny town is slim to none...got any suggestions?

Here's one I'd downloaded off the Food Network. It's do-able and pretty quick.
18 ounces fresh fettuccine 2 1/2 cups heavy cream 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice 12 tablespoons unsalted butter 2 cups grated Parmesan 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest Pinch freshly grated nutmeg Salt and freshly ground white pepper
Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until tender but still firm to the bite, stirring occasionally, about 4 minutes. Drain. Stir 2 cups of the cream and the lemon juice in a heavy large skillet to blend. Add the butter and cook over medium heat just until the butter melts, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes. Remove from the heat.
Add the pasta and toss. Add the remaining 1/2 cup of cream, and Parmesan to the cream sauce in the skillet. Add the lemon zest, nutmeg, salt, and white pepper. Toss the pasta mixture over low heat until the sauce thickens slightly, about 1 minute.
The nutmeg is a neat addition.

I'll have to try it...however fresh nutmeg will be a problem...wonder if the dried spice (for my pies and cookies) would work????

There's not enough room in my kitchen for all the special toys and fresh ingredients to keep up with the cooking shows.
I'll let you know how it turns out.
