That's a tough one....is there anything that you can eliminate right now to make some time? Or is there anything that you do right now that you could invite someone to do with you?

I know that I get pretty busy, and I dated a guy that liked to run. So for a date we met up went for a run and then had dinner. Everyone has to eat.

Oh I forgot to write, working out is part of my daily routine. I just shuffled things around to make time for him.

Not at the moment. My job has more or less become my life. When I am not working, I am trying to spend time with the kid to relieve some of that guilt. I honestly don't know how I can fit anything else in. And of course, as a parent, I don't want to have a guy around my kid until I know him rather well and there just isn't time to get to know someone well enough.

I can understand that. I know someone that is in the same situation, so at night she stays out really late. I dont know how she does it. Maybe if there were someone that you wanted to date, you could invite them over late one weekend evening for movies and pizza? After your kid has gone to bed have him come over for a movie and pray that the kid doesnt wake up. Sorry I'm not good with throwing a child in the equation. I have a cat and she does her own thing.

Go bowling or something, that way your child, your intrest and yourself can go. But, since you don't want it to be awkward, invite some of your friends that have kids, so that you're child won't feel left out either.

Ex's are crazy!!! My ex cheated on me with a lady that we worked with. She was married and now they are engaged. Neither of them work for the bank anymore, WOO HOO. He wont stop emailing me though. If she knew this she would be so mad! He's apologizing for everything that he did to me, that he's been thinking about it a lot lately. I didnt email him back. Then I get another one asking for a response. So I write back, What are you in AA and this is a step in your program? That if I tell you that I forgive you that you'll have the guilt go away and that all will be forgiven??? Wrongo Bongo.

Well I'm not sure where it's going and stuff, but she's a little older than me, and that's a GREAT change. Tired of all the immature games. The problem is that there's distance. 3 hour drive between us. Not huge, but still a challenge. Not sure if I want to start something w/ that kind of distance, but I might as well take a chance...

Some people might be worth the distance. Nobody says it will last anyway so why not try and see what happens.

My husband and I lived 5 hours apart when we were dating. We just celebrated our 18th anniversary last month. I say give it a shot!

A friend of mine dated a guy for 2 years commuting back and forth. They lived a good 14 to 15 hours away from eachother. After she graduated, they moved a little closer and now they are married. She is very happy, and the distance made them closer she says. Which I can see where that would kind of be true. You rely on phone calls, emails and voice and text messages for weeks or months at a time. There is nothing to do but just talk and get to know every detail about eachother. You spend your time missing them and when you do see them, it would be the ultimate high. I would look at it as an adventure and go with it.
