Bo- his first song was ok, but he is definately not a country singer. His second song was ok to me. I don't think he did the best, but I think he got the most votes.
Carrie- her first song was good, but not as good as it should have been. Her second song was not so good. However, I think she will be safe tonight because she has a big fan base.
Vonzelle- her first song was yuck, and her second song wasn't much better. She should be the one to go tonight, but she may get the sympathy vote.
Anthony- first song was ok, the second song was GREAT!!! I think he was the best performer of the night. He isn't my favorite, but after his solid performances, he deserves to stay.

I think the top three, based on last nights performances, will be as follows: Bo, Anthony, Carrie.. in that order.. with Vonzelle going home. In the reality of it all it will probably be this order: Bo, Carrie, Vonzelle, with Anthony going home.

I tried to vote last night, but even at 9:45 all 4 of the phone lines were still busy. It's gonna be a close call.

Pizza girl - I will never top being a die hard Cub fan - I have the club pin to prove it. Just trying some reverse psychology after getting very frustrated with the team and management so far - since I changed my poster name, they have won 2 out of 3, so I'm leaving it for now!

And btw - I would be a Red Sox fan way before I would ever go to the dark (white) side!

Hey, exCubDave, now that the baseball season is over, why don't we start a thread on Fantasy Football, or college football, or the NFL?

No way, Z - not going there this year! Too addictive and while I did most of it from home, don't have the time at work or at home to do it justice, and I can't fathom doing it half-a$$

I agree on the addictive part. I am not going to do it. Instead, I am going to sit on the sidelines and watch how the players I ended the season with do this next season.

Bo can sing well, but he's been doing this forever. So I don't ever vote for him. I tend to pull for those that have not made music their career for the last 10 years - like Carrie or Vonzell. Anthony can only sing easy songs - I don't think he's all that great and I do hate his stage presence.

I'm a big country fan and thought Bo's country song was horrible. I don't know why the judges thought it was so good. I sometimes think that what they hear and what we hear are two totally different things!!

You know, that's a very good observation. The performance a studio audience sees is not the same performance that the television director shows the viewers. Honestly, the director can influence how someone looks and sounds to the television audience.

I don't think any of the judges said Bo's country song was good. He has been doing this for awhile and he sounds great and he deserves to win the competition. The others are younger and they have time to work on their voices and be better in the future. Bo is there now and he deserves this.

Well, I guess since I am not a fan of country music; I did well by missing last night, eh?

Yes, Anthony is gone, I figured it would be him. I'm now out of the office pool but that's OK because I didn't think he deserved to be there above the other 3. Now that there's only 3, who is your prediction on who the idol winner will be. I'm really torn between Carrie and Bo but I gotta go with Bo.

Saw Simon on a talk show before AI. He stated that the final two should be Bo and Carrie. Of course he wouldn't say which would win but did say that this contest is much like the end between Clay and Rubin. Which ever one wins it will have a lucritive (sp?) singing career.

Actually I think they'll both end up with lucrative contracts in the end. Bo will get some rock gigs and Carrie will go on to country music full time.

Bo, Carrie, AND Vonzell have all made CDs, so the comment about not voting for Bo because "He's been doing this longer" is invalid. They are all amatuers who are bordering on pro.

All three of them will end up with lucrative contracts in the end.

I'm pulling for Bo, but hoping my dark horse Vonzell wins.

I too hope Vonzell wins, she's the type of music I would listen to the most. I don't like country and I think that's where Carrie will end up, on a country station so I'll never hear her again. Bo, he'll be a rocker, a new Neil Young or Allman Brothers type band front man. But Vonzell, she'll come out on all th pop/R & B stations I bet.

FINALLY .... Anthony is gone! I'm surprised it took this long, but it finally happened.

I hope Bo wins the whole competition! They will all do well, but I like Bo's voice the best.

I think its going to be Bo. All three of them will end up with successful careers. BTW: Are Carrie and Anthony an item? At the end last night she was crying and it looked like she mouthed "I love you" to him as he was singing his final song. Any scoop on that?

Pizzaz, I agree with you. I think Vonzell has more pop charm than the rest. I hope she wins.

I think it was just traumatic to see someone go at that stage of the game. (Just an opinion.)
