If it has been decided that a deposit taking ATM will no longer accept deposits, what type of notice if any is required to post on the ATM or send to customers? Also, is there any time requirement before the date the ATM will no longer accepts deposits?

No notice is required that I am aware of.

We just did it.

I don't think it's required either.

When we did it, we got a report that let us know which customers deposited into what ATM's. That way we can give courtesy calls to those customers to let them know and arrange something different

ATMs are not considered branches for purposes of Branch Closing Requirements (12 USC 1831r-1), and do not require the advance 90-day branch closing notice.

However, if you're going to eliminate altogether your customers' ability to make deposits at ATMs (shut down deposit capability at all your machines), you'll need to make a Reg. E subsequent disclosure notice under 205.8(a), because you're providing less access.
