Here I am feeling sorry for myself because I am at work on a Sunday morning doing last minute preparation for an exam starting on Tuesday. But, what do I see when I click on BOL to get some info but a new home page!

It looks great! Thanks for always working to make BOL better and better for all of us!

It's a pretty good sign when the people running "the only game in town" work to make it better. Much easier to read...

Looks great and many thanks to all. Perhaps its just my browser but could you consider making all black text that appears in the blue borders white or some other contrasting color.

The black color on the blue background is not readable. Looks like its just on a few pages, as most are in white

Again it may be my browser.

On mine some screens are and some are not. The Main Thread Topic Screen is Ok but when I click on a Topic that screen has black on blue headers and footers.

I agree with Don. For instance, the link at the top of this string entitled "Jump to the first unread post" is black text on blue. Also, if I read a post in this string, it is black text on a gray background, but if it is a new post, then it is black on blue which is difficult to read.

I like that the posts I haven't read are a different color than those that I have read, but the black on dark blue is not enough contrast.

Purple must be the new fashion color this year . I agree with the above posters about the dark purple and the black font in it being hard to read. Other than that, the look is great. Thanks go to BOL for the improvement!

Hi,

Thanks for all the comments!

We've hopefully answered some of your questions in this post about the new site design.

We hear you and you should expect to see adjustments as we move forward through this transition to the new design.

Thanks for your input!

George busted into the bits and bytes. What do you think of the threads now.

I think, thank you, George.

Ahhhhhhhhhh, very nice that BOL is back to a full screen on my monitor. Funny how easily we get used to things being a certain way . . .

You know, I hardly take a vacation. Then, I'm gone for a week...come back from the beach and log using my friends computer (how sad is it that I check a banking website on vacation? What kind of sick nutjob am I?!) and everything changed.

At first I thought that I got a little too sunburnt and a little too tipsy off of the margarita's.

Lookin' good though! I approve.

Anyone else notice that sometimes, when you click on a thread within the Forum that states that there was a recent post, you find out that the last post was back in 2004? It's happened twice to me this weekend.

Fraud Pup,
Almost every night some inane anons post some meaningless drivel at the end of an old post. (Not comment, drivel.) When they are deleted in the morning it leaves the old post at the top of the heap. Consumers also disinter old threads to add questions. Those are moved to "Ask a Banker," but still leave the old thread prominently displayed.

Yesterday the color had changed to a lighter blue with black letters on the headings of the new posts. Today it is back to dark blue with black lettering again. Sure makes it hard to read the heading, my poor old eyes need help. Is it going to stay dark blue & black?

Sometimes when I use the search function and pull up a thread, all the text is blank. It is really strange because it does not happen 100% of the time. I have tried it signed in and signed out, varying the time periods being searched, as well as switching from "in subject" to "in subject and body."

The ONLY thing that seems to make a difference is the use of the character "/" within the search criteria. It's the darndest thing. I had a need to search for "const/perm" as well as "HMDA/CRA" and in both instances I received search results. Lots of them. But when I clicked on a thread all of the content was blank.

Surely this is some kind of bug??? I hope??? Just wanted to share...

Other that this I love the new look!

Maybe the text was just white

Nope, highlighted the space within the posts as well...if the text was white it should have appeared.

I also found a post in the "search" post it note at the top of the General Discussion board where someone else (Thunder Bunny) had the same problem earlier this year, but it seemed to magically correct itself. I wonder if it was caused by something similar to my issue...

You are correct. I still have trouble about 25% of the time with blank thread when I do a search. No answers have ever been found. Might last one day, might last two weeks, then all of a sudden everything is working fine. It is really strange, and I have no idea what causes it. I do the search the exact same way each time.
