My wife bought me a Nintendo Game Cube for my birthday, and I was wondering if they made a Game Shark for it. I've been looking but I just can't seem to find one. I don't like to call my self a "cheater" but I do like to have the upper hand.

No, but you can route it through your network and DL games off the internet for it... for trial purposes only of course... You can also run cheat programs through it that way. The sites escape me at the moment. I think it may even be on Systm...

Well that just sucks! What happened to the good ol' days when you could just pop in your handy dandy Game Shark and unlock all levels, players, weapons, and ammo?? Geez, now I'm gonna actually have to unlock them myself... What's the world coming to??

As an aside that at least I know the original poster will get...

"I'm selling these fine leather jackets..."

(p.s. Curse of Monkey Island was the best one )

I don't know what it's called, but my son bought a game cheats disk for his game cube and he loves it. Bought at Wal-Mart for less than $20, thousands of cheats on it.

I know about all the cheat sites, but GameShark used to provide cheats that were otherwise impossible to use. The main reason I'm asking is because I got the game Resident Evil Zero, and I can't find cheats for it... I had the same problem with Resident Evil 2,(on playstation) but I got a gameshark and it opened up all kinds of cool stuff.

Happy Friday all!

I'm far from being a video game "aficionado" (or would it be "aficionadA" for female?), but....what is the point of buying a video game to play if you're going to cheat? Isn't the point of these games to start out a "rookie" and through blood, sweat and tears finally triumphing over evil (or whatever the ultimate goal is?).

Just curious.

Yes, Very true... But every once and a while I just like to run through a game blasting the crap out of everything in sight. Don't get me wrong, I've spent long nights playing games without cheating, but there are certain weapons that can only be found in the final levels of games and the ammo is very limited. So by "cheating" I can have fun with that weapon throughout the whole game... But I promise every game I've ever owned I've either tried beating it without cheating or given up on it...

I think your son got an Action Replay,

Gameshark was bought by a company called Mad Catz, they still make the product just not as big as before

I can remember physically drawing maps for the different levels for some of the older Legend of Zelda games so I could finish. Took me forever but finish I did without cheat codes.

It is so demoralizing when I can't find half of the items needed to finish a game but my son can find EVERYTHING on every level and finish a game within hours. Ah, to be young again and to have the brain cells I used to have. I ask him how he figured out where something was or how to do something and he will say "I just knew." Makes me feel so old. So now I use cheat codes whenever I can. Whatever it takes.

Did anyone here ever play the old Sport Illustrated NFL or College Football board games? Nowadays, I enjoy coaching teams on the football video games, but I don't have the time or inclination to actually play enough to get good moving my fingers on the controller.

Guy, I have to apologize for giving you some bad information. What my son bought was for the PS2. He said they don't make anything like this for Nintendo, they get all their cheats off the internet. Sorry to get your hopes up, please forgive me.

With Nintendo using such a proprietary disk format, it'd be impossible to have a Game Shark disk for the system... remember back in the day they sued the makers of the Game Shark... with this format, they don't have to worry about it.
