Pirate, they have one on their new album, The Lost Christmas Eve, called "Christmas Jam". It does not sound "christmas-y", but it rocks! I can't stand still when it's on.

I have a few in no particular order: Gigantour 2005 (Dream Theater and Megadeth) G3 2002 (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, John Petrucci) Tower of Power 2000 The Who, Summer 1989 (one of their "farewell tours") Fishbone (just about every time I see them, especially while they still had Spacey T) Damageplan and Shadows Fall, November 2004 (R.I.P. Darrell)
Cheesiest concert I am ashamed to admit I attended: Y&T, Frehley's Comet and Faster Pussycat 1987 (3rd row, no less)
And the worst concert of all time:
Guns 'n' Roses and Metallica at the Rose Bowl 1991 or 1992

According to jimihendrix.com, which advertises itself as the official Jimi Hendrix website, Hendrix died on September 18, 1970.

GuitarDude-Saw this same show at Arrowhead Stadium in KC in 1992 or 1993 (can't remember right now). GNR sucked, no doubt. Metallica, on the other hand, totally kicked butt! I should've left after their set!

EXACTLY, 1984 or 1985. It just rocked, although I think the show I saw was about 4 hours long.

1979, The Police, performing at the Warehouse in New Orleans (if you wanted a seat, you brought your own, it literally was an old warehouse). They were just starting to make it big, and it was awesome. Played for almost 4 hours.
Second best would probably be Eric Clapton with Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits.
3rd would be The Who in 1983 (their first farewell tour).

I saw Sting and Annie Lennox in Minneapolis in July 2004. Lennox was good but I actually thought Sting was boring and left before he finished.

Sugar Ros, radio city music hall. (I will kiss anyone who knows who they are!)
Stevie Nicks, greatest hits tour, The Gorge at George, Washington. (it was outdoors, on the egde of a canyon, full moon, and the air could make you high, is it possible to see her in a more appropriate setting.)
