Does anyone else's internal clock turn back about a month or so early? I have been having an awful time getting up the past week or so. I think it is because it is still dark when the alarm goes off. The same thing happens in the spring, I end up waking up an hour earlier about a month before we turn the clocks ahead. I don't know what I will do if they decide to extend daylight savings time! Maybe my internal clock needs reset or re-wound!

Somewhere vanilla
Personally I have been saying that they should drop back a half hour and then just keep it as is. I am one who LOVES his sleep and when I peddled the sunday paper around I cursed those who decided that I had to lose an hour.

Isn't it Mountain time where they don't recognize Daylight Savings shenanigans?

Just Arizona and New Mexico I think - not the whole TZ.

Part of Indiana used to not recognize Daylight wasted times, but I think they voted to recognize it recently.

NM does change time... Spring forward, fall back... It gets dark so early, and stays dark an awful long time...

Going round and round
Arizona does not practice DST (except on the Indian Reservations), neither does Hawaii. Indiana just passed it, so starting next spring, we will join the rest of the country in "sprining forward".

I wish the rest of the country would decide on one time and stick to it instead of this whole change the clock thing. Oh well, guess I have to go along or be an hour late half the year.

I'm just glad that it happens on a Sunday, so it usually isn't something super important that I'm late or early to, like work.... Who would want to be early (or late...)?

I wake up lately around 2:30 or 3:00, glance at the clock, calculate how much time I have left before the alarm clock radio goes off and go back to sleep - nearly every morning !! I have been waking up at 4:45 for 35 years since that's when my husband gets up for work so it's not like it's a new thing!! Every ())_((^&$$ morning!!

Yeah, my clock's screwed up. We've been in disaster recovery mode since the storm. We finally worked our first less-than-12 hr shift last night. We've been pulling 12-30 hr shifts since the beggining of September. Ugh! We go in around 5:00 pm, leave the site between 5:00 and 8:00 am, sleep until about 4:00 pm, grab lunch, and go back to work. Much fun!
