As for names from tv...I like Nick from CSI but that's the boyfriends name so that doesnt work. I also like Vaughn from Alias, but don't know how that would work for a dog.

Got any books you like the character's names? I always wanted to name my girl kitties Chani (from Dune) or Galadirel (from Lord of the Rings). But I always end up with boy cats!
Call him Sid Vicious.

I like the idea of getting a wussy dog and naming it really tough names like Fang, Thor, Cujo, Killer, etc.
Better yet, get a vicious Pit Bull and name it Muffy.

If you have a favorite entertainer you can name him after that person. deppfan could have a dog named Johnny. I have two cats named Bob and Dylan, etc. When I was in high school I had a cat named Dog (we called her the Dogger). Naming is half the fun of getting a pet.

My 5 year old neighbor boy wanted to name their new Corgi Summer Wheatly from Napoleon Dynamite. He's cool for a 5 year old. His mom, not nearly as cool, said no, so they named her Lollybups.

I like Chief... See the problem is that my wife wants to give him a wussy name like precious or fluffy and I want to give him a butch name like killer or bruno so we're trying to find common ground...

My puppy's a tiny little thing (rat terrier) and I thought about the Killer, Bruiser type name...it would be funny.
Nanwa I love the Sid Vicious...

I always joke about my Kismet, a very large, gentle ball of fluff cat. When he sits in my lap, and I lift up his lip to expose his fangs, I say I should have named him Sid Vicious, cause he looks scary!
