Hi, sorry if you've seen this question a million times. I understand the Reg Q $10/20 rule. What I don't understand is how banks can give away items like Foreman grills and coolers for opening a non-interest bearing account with a $10 deposit. Am I missing something?

The large institutions are able to buy products in bulk and get the cost per item below $10.
