We have a bank moving to another location. They want to know if there is any regulatory reason they have to give a disclosure. I told them, although there may not be a regulatory reason, it is just good customer service. Does anyone have any advice on where I can look for Bank Moving?

Thanks

Take a look at the Interagency Policy Statement on Branch Closings and scroll down to the section on Relocations and Consolidations. Read it carefully. There are some references in that section to OCC and OTS regulations, too.

Also, if you are an FDIC-insured bank, look at FDIC Rules at 12 CFR Part 303, subpart C, and check with your state regulator, if you have a state charter.

Between the lines
There is a streamlined notice for "Short Distance Relocation" if you are OCC. However, if this is an additional branch, you have the full-blown application.
