I disagree. It's like saying you don't need a banana hammock at a european beach.

lol... well anyway, what I'd really like to have is one of the new mustangs, especially after they bring back the Shelby in '07 or '08 even though that would be out of my price range. Even the GT's now are 300hp though, so i think i could settle for that in a year or 2

even when they come out with the new "shelby" they will never touch the classics trust me i know my BF's dad has 3 old mustangs, 2 in perfect condition the most recent purchase needs a few fixer upers but they are all beatiful cars especially his the silver one, the black one is a first yr mustang 1964 1/2 well considered 1965 fast back this was his first one and when he starts it up its just awesome the sound is incredible its a beast its the quickest one, then the next purchase i'm not sure of the yr but it too is a fast back and its my fav its silver with red leather interior and he plans on making look like the shelby from gone in 60 seconds, the newest addition is also another fast back its sparkly aquamarine color with white interior this one needs alot of work, he has already started mods BF and him put coil over on it this weekend, i love watching them work on cars, i have learned so much about cars in the last 3 yrs that i have been with BF

My dad has a 1968 Shelby GT500KR, and if you know your 'stangs this is 1 of 933 ever made. He's had it ever since he was 17. I've had the pleasure of driving it a whole 2 times my entire lifetime. We've done a lot of routine maintenance on it, and cleaning it and whatnot. I've personally put everthing from the engine block forward - water pump, belts, fan, fan clutch, radiator, hoses, alternator, a/c, powersteering pump, etc on it. I love that car, and dad has stated I get it when he dies We've also got a 1970 GTO with the 455 CID engine... and a lot of other "toys"

Sorry, I dont remember saying that the new shelby's are going to be as good or better than the old ones, just that I'd like to have one lol... If I was more knowledgable on working on cars myself I would love to have a classic one but that isnt the case and it defeats the purpose of getting a car that would need so much work if my mechanic would spend more time with my car than me

hello hello hello to answer your question, the only thing i've done so far is a k&n filter. Unfortunatly, when I got my Max, I've had to do some work on it to get it running good first(short on money). I do have plans for her though, y-pipe,maybe ecu reflash, new tires and wheels, new suspinsion.

my brothers both work at dealerships so I get all my parts at cost. I put a K&N filter and the cool intake system on my vehicle. I'm buying new shoes for it today too. It's nice to have connections

I ordered new turbos and injectors... that hurt the pocket book a bit, but once I get them installed I should be putting out 450+...

Why not go single turbo? You can get just as much(or more) power than a twin setup. Plus it looks alot cleaner in my opinion.

Because the VG30DETT engine is made and set up to continue to run a twin turbo set up. And you can't see the actual turbos because they are in the rear of the engine and the underside. Go to Twinturbo.net and ask the guys there if a single turbo set up is a good idea... You will be made fun of for weeks, and those guys know exactly what they are talking about.

yeah, vg is a very good design, and they just got better with the ve and then the vq. going from an iron block to an aluminium block did wonders for the engine. it says something when they use the same basic design for 10 years with updates of course.

Except for the exhaust, my car is completely stock looking... but it ain't! I will agree with you... civis with wings and body kits... I bet they think the number of stickers they have will actually increase their horsepower

my max is a 95. I hav'nt seen a single body kit that looks even halfway decent on it anyways, except maybe the stillen.

anyway, its nice to know that a four door grocery getter can take out the great majority of "racers" on the street! Even bone stock!
