Keep in mind that what you're being asked for is not a resume that you would use to go out and get another job, but really are being asked for a document that simply describes your work history and experience.
A job-hunting resume is a piece of sales literature - it's designed to call attention to the best features of the product - you - and to minimize any flaws. It's purpose is to catch the attention of the hiring manager and prompt a desire to find out more.
What you need for this is more of a background and details about the various positions you've held and jobs you've performed over the past 30 years with your company. It doesn't have to be flashy and it doesn't have to sell. It simply needs to be a factual statement about the things you have done.
