Does anyone remember this regular skit from the Carol Burnett Show - about a not-so-brite secretary named Mrs. Wiggin's (played by Carol Burnett) who just sits at her desk and files her nails, and her boss Mr. Tudball, played by Tim Conway... Does anyone know where I could download sound clips from those skits??

I remember them well! Loved 'em! Tim Conway's character was soooo funny. Not sure where you could get your hands on a copy, though.

Not sure where you could download anything but I remember watching when I was a kid. I LOVED Mrs. Wiggins and her obnoxious red hair and "ball" earrings. I remember Mr. Tuddball shuffling around the office. Thanks for the good memeory

I used to absolutely love this show. I've been trying to remember the name of the dancers ever since humdafan started this thread and it's making me nuts. Was it the June Carter dancers? That can't be right.

Yeah, the dancers would come out and dance all these complicated numbers and then the camera would film from above and the dancers' arms and legs would make these really cool geometric patterns. It was neat.

Suzy, I don't remember any dancers from the Carol Burnett show. About a year ago there was a Carol Burnett marathon weekend on some dish station (tvland?) and I watched bits-n-pieces throughout the weekend. I don't remember any dancers from any of those shows either.

I don't remember dancers either. I used to love to watch that show. I loved it when they would tried to hold back laughing while they were doing the skits, and usually it was Tim Conway they were trying not to laught at. He was a riot.

Suzy, the dancers that had the overhead kaleidoscope shots were on the old Jackie Gleason variety show. They were the June Taylor Dancers. The Carol Burnett Show had dancers, but they weren't a formal troupe with a name, just individual dancers, who sometimes got to do bit parts in some of the skits.

Yes! June Taylor dancers. They weren't on Carol Burnett? I could have sworn I remembered them on there. Oh well, the old brain is getting fuzzy.

Suzy, the June Taylor dancers always reminded me of the old Buzby Berkley musicals from the 1930's. June Taylor actually just passed away a couple of years ago, and from 1978 to 1990 she was in charge of the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders. She also won an Emmy in 1954 for the Jackie Gleason show for her choreography.

I used to love watching them and I really, really remember seeing them in color. I must have had a vivid imagination as a kid! They remind me of those synchronized swimmers who do all the choreography and visual design with their bodies. I like that kind of stuff.

Thanks for the info, OperaBabe.

I caught part of Caddyshack last night -- the part with the "synchronized swimmers" in the club pool...and the Baby Ruth candy bar --- funny stuff!

I saw that last night, too. That's one movie I can watch over and over again...still makes me laugh!

The all time best sketch on Carol Burnett had to be Tim Conway as the dentist who, over and over, stabs himself instead of Harvey Corman. It still reduces me to absolute tears every time I see it.

One of the best shows ever. They had the right chemistry. And although never a big fan of Tim Conway, I absolutely loved him on that show.
