seriously...what IS this?

We don't issue or process our own credit cards, but we do have debit and ATM cards...would a bank liek mine have to pay any attention to this PCI stuff? We already adhere to GLBA and INformation Security...

PCI compliance is a set of restrictions issued by the payment card industry (like Ken said) -- usually MasterCard and VISA. It was enacted a couple of years ago w/staggered enforcement due to security issues.

You might have to know about PCI in that it is often very specific (where info security requirements are not) and you are subject to some hefty fines from V/MC. You may wish to follow up on the issue with your processor for your cards. (Most merchants are subject to parts of PCI via their acquirer contracts, etc.)
