Saw this on my home page and know that MOML would never go. The first time I had a massage, I thought it was so wonderful, I booked one for MOML. He declined to use it, said he would be too embarassed.
How about you other guys? Massage? Facial? Manicure?

I did a massage after my last 100 mile bike-ride, but it certainly wasn't in a spa environment, took place right at the finish line. Manicure? Facials? Pedicure? Nah, those are for wimps...although I belive the new term is "metrosexuals" Besides, if I made myself look any more handsome, I'd really never get anything done. I'm already being interrupted umpteen times a day by women wanting my time!!! Or something else

My husband has also told me 'no' when I've offered to schedule him for a massage for his birthday. I've never had one either, though, and know I'm missing out.

LOL I had my first because I was the same way, and at the time was working for a health club where it was my job to upsell our members on the benefits of our massage therapists. Well, since I refused, the one gal offered me a free massage. Since she was cute and flirty and basically telling me to take my clothes off, I said yes. I'm hooked now, and to any guy who says they don't want to do it, you're a fool! There's nothing quite like the body being totally relaxed and working the way it is supposed to.

No way would my husband have any of those things done. I did talk him into taming the "wild brow" he had growing when we first met.

Mu husband has had two. He doesn't say much about it but that it was nice. His first one was for Valentine's day and the second was a couple massage with me when he came home on R&R from overseas. I think he likes it but doesn't want to say so. But he sure doesn't turn them down. And let me tell you he is no Metrosexual. He is diffenetly a manly man. Guns, chews, hunting and it all. I think you guys are missing out for being stubborn. What is better then a female rubbing your whole body with oil and no commitment.

I caught part of Bill Engvall's act on Comedy Central the other night (might be part of Blue Collar 3)...anyway, he was doing this bit about how his wife talked him into getting a massage...it was hilarious!!

Ditto to Dan's comment. The massage would be great...the other two not so much.

I have been to a spa and had massages and manicures. No facials.

I would have a message but it would have to be a woman doing it. I'm not going to have some guy rub me.

I'm a woman and I have never had a professional pedicure or massage. I was offerred a free message once and turned it down. My sister-in-law keeps trying to get me to go for a pedicure with her. She loves it. I don't know if I would like someone messing with my feet.

Had many massages, all by women and all wonderful, although one strong Jamaican woman had me cringing in pain with her man-hands. The end result was that I was actually more relaxed and loose from that one than from the others. My wife set me up with a manicure / pedicure / facial treatment once. Spent the whole day in the spa, and I concluded that I just don't see the need / value to them. The foot massage that went with the pedicure was okay, but it just isn't a man thing.

Further South than I wanna be.

My ex bf loved massages and he was a big hunk of a guy. He was totally comfortable with himself and didn't care if it was a male or female, as long as the person could give a good massage.
I am a massagoholic too. I would get one weekly if I could afford it.
