We have begun receiving tax refund checks. The H & R Block checks are issued under 'Household', yet it appears they are drawn on Imperial Capital Bank in Nevada. The catch is these checks are labeled as Cashier's Checks. I don't feel this fits the true concept of a cashiers check and am uncomfortable giving next-day availability. How is everyone else handling these checks? For non-customers, we're requiring they open a savings account so that we can place a longer hold.
