I love all the non-classic Monopoly games that show up. There's a really cool one they sell at the Newport Aquarium called Oceanopoly. Same game, different locals and such.

I have KISSoploy and Sponge Bob Monopoly. Hated the game growing up because my brother always won. Now the T-girl and I have tournaments with her friends. (and she hates being the banker. )

What is the oldest manufactured date of your Monopoly set? I have one dated 1978. All original pieces and box.

Mine is from the mid to late 60s.

I have one from the 1940's. It was my brothers game. It has all the pieces and is in great condition. All three of us played with it at one time or another (huge age difference in my brothers and me).

Could be a collectors' piece. WWII era games can sell for a nice price.

That's what I was thinking. I love to antique shop and some of the stuff I see in those stores, I had when I was a kid and once I saw a Monopoly set. I dont remember the price they had on it, but you can bet that I kept mine.

Among some other things, I have the toy telephone that you pulled with a red string and the eyes roll up and down. Picked it up at a garage sale for nothing and the antique store wanted $20.

So underwear I have that consists of nothing but an elastic band and a few threads would be considered an antique?

Sweet! I’m rich, I'm going to Sizzler tonight!
