Could someone provide me with the date of the booklet titled "Buying Your Home - Settlement Costs and Helpful information". I found that the booklet we are using is dated June 1997 and was wondering if their was an update since then.

HUD says it no longer sells the "Buying Your Home" Settlement Costs booklet (HUD 1676-H) we're required to provide, nor is there a replacement. Other than buying from the Federal Citizen Information Center of the U.S. General Services Administration, are there other vendors now offering this product?

HUD actually makes the booklet available from their website. Try the following link: http://www.hud.gov/fha/res/respa_hm.html

You can also purchase them from a forms vendor such as Greatland Corporation.

Thanks, but couldn't access the web site. Don't know if it's our firewall, or what. Did you mean they (HUD) still offers the booklet for sale or just for viewing on line? We're looking for a supplier of the booklets to have on hand for the applicants.
