I have left two messages on the OFAC hotline requesting guidance on suspects. I have not been called back. What are we do to when we need immediate guidance for a time-sensitive transaction such as a wire transfer? Sometimes you don't have an exact match, but have enough that you need assistance to verify identify of an individual or entity.

I have two wire transfer transactions that I have been holding in Suspense awaiting a response from OFAC personnel. They are processing numerous requests as you can imagine and all you can do is wait for them to respond. Fortunately, our customer has not complained as yet about the delay in processing his wires. The first wire came through about ten days ago. I know it is frustrating but I simply have served the ball to them and it is up to OFAC to return the volley. Hope this helps.
