I am having a compliance issue with right now. I am Quality Controlling Accounts and have several accounts opened with SSN starting with 9.

My understanding is that tins starting with 9 are impossible SSN Numbers, but CheckSystems comes back as ITINs on some and Invalid numbers on others.

Anyone else have this issue?

ITINs start with a 9 and have a 7 or 8 in the fourth place of the number. There are also some valid SSNs starting with a 9.
