I'm trying to verify the record retention requirements for TISA. The regulation and our state say 2 yrs. What records are required to keep for 2 years? In particular, is retention required on the entire TISA Disclosure? We change ours all the time with new rates. Once our system (Deposit Pro) is changed it's gone. We can print a hard copy, but it just seems crazy to save all that paper.

So Cal
IMO, rates would be included in the records to be retained. Also, aside from the TISA requirements, if you have no record of previous rates and there is a customer dispute, how will you research it, calculate restitution, etc.?

We keep our rate sheets, but not the entire TISA disclosure that we hand out at account opening that reflect our current rates. That's the one (TISA Disclosure) I'm questioning.
