Is there a Do Not Mail Registry? Is it governed by the FTC as well? Can anyone provide me information or a link? I would appreciate any assistance. Thanks.

Wisteria Lane..
To my knowledge there is no federal "Do Not Mail Registry". I understand that the Direct Marketing Association does provide a service where a consumer can sign up to be eliminated from mailings such as offers of credit cards.

Here's the link:

The Direct Marketing Association now charges $1 to get on their "Do Not Mail" list. I know several people who've done it and they say between that and "opting-out" of pre-screen credit solicitations, they've dramatically reduced junk mail.
