Having a discussion here and wanted to get others take on it. We have to place caps on ODP max exposure limits.

We are wondering if anyone put those caps in Lending policy?

Issue is this is not a lending product per guidance, but accounting rule consider these to be credit extentions i.e. reserve for potential losses.

If not in lending policy, where have you all placed the caps? Thanks.

My experience is that it is either in the Loan Policy, or for ODs the Loan Policy refers to a section of an Ops Policy that does address it from the operational perspective, who, how much, when, etc.
