I know that HUD issued a new proposed regulation for comment regarding lightbulbs in 1994. Has anyone seen a copy of the final rule????

No. Apparently the comments that were received didn't shed much light on the issue.

Don't forget all the posts about how the people at HUD are really just a bunch of dim bulbs...

This is by far one of the funniest posts I've seen! I'm sitting here in my office laughing by myself and people are looking at me strangely although being a compliance officer, that's nothing new.

You forgot the 2 anon's who will ask? What is a light bulb and are they required if I'm a small bank?

I want to be sure to get the proper answers to them immediately!

a) a glass bulb containing a wire filament (usually tungsten) that emits light when heated, or that shiney bright thing over your head stupid.

b) No, not required, infact given the current regulatory environment, not having light bulbs, or even having knowledge of the light bulb changing process could be a valuable asset to your institution.

Where can we find the "White Paper" on lightbulbs?
