Several weeks ago, I came across a thread on BOL (not sure which forum) that referenced a law governing rates paid on deposits to directors and insiders.

I've done multiple searches of the threads but can't find this specific thread again.

Does anyone out there know where I might find this law?

For member banks: 12 USC 376 No member bank shall pay to any director, officer, attorney, or employee a greater rate of interest on the deposits of such director, officer, attorney, or employee than that paid to other depositors on similar deposits with such member bank.
