Our policy for "regular" accounts is if there is a report on ChexSystems, we do not open the account. Should HSA accounts be treated any differently? One of our customers who is an Insurance Agent has a supply of HSA packets he gives to his business clients who offers HSA's to their employees. The douments are completed by the employee thru HR and then they are mailed to the bank, so the customer is not with the CSR at the time of pulling ChexSystems. Should we go ahead and open the the account?

This is totally a bank decision whether or not to accept accounts from anyone. If you are not going to deny them - why pull a Chexsystems report to begin with???
