Hon, I had a date and it wasn't WITH you...I'm crushed! Yeppers, it went well. Nothing spectacular, really. We had tried to get together for some time and never could arrange it with all life's interruptions. Went to dinner to a little shack restaurant overlooking a "river" in the "mountains"....we have little mountains and a creek-like river....then we went to a little club for drinks and to just relax and chat. We had a good time, and I look forward to another to see if they continue forward or if that was all there was to it. We'll see. Oh, she's pretty hot, by the way, and she has absolutely GORGEOUS eyes...very important! LOL.

I am so tired of dating!!! I am a 25 year old female, and I just want to meet someone decent that wants a relationship. I'm so tired of going out on date after date and getting nowhere. I hate it when you go out with a guy and you feel like you both have had a good time, only to never hear from them again. I thought i would post and see if any other single women are just as frustrated!! Im not sure how old this thread is, but I will throw in my 2 cents as well. I am a 27 year old male, and I know what your talking about. Dating has become a real annoyance today. I wont even go into some of the my horror stories. Without knowing the details, I would wager that you need to change where you are looking. It is a rare occurence to find a decent guy/gal in a bar or club. At least in NY any ways.

Scout's Honor... the BEST place to meet a new significant other is AT THE GROCERY STORE. Don't believe me? Try it.

Scout's Honor... the BEST place to meet a new significant other is AT THE GROCERY STORE. Don't believe me? Try it. Met my old lover in the grocery store The snow was falling christmas eve I stole behind her in the frozen foods And i touched her on the sleeve
She didn't recognize the face at first But then her eyes flew open wide She went to hug me and she spilled her purse And we laughed until we cried.
We took her groceries to the checkout stand The food was totalled up and bagged We stood there lost in our embarrassment As the conversation dragged.
We went to have ourselves a drink or two But couldn't find an open bar We bought a six-pack at the liquor store And we drank it in her car.
We drank a toast to innocence We drank a toast to now And tried to reach beyond the emptiness But neither one knew how...

I met a guy I dated for a long while at the grocery store. We kept passing each other going up and down the aisles, and I "accidentally" bumped my cart into his, then apologized sweetly and profusely. We got to talking and ended up exchanging phone numbers and getting together later that week. It was really fun! We were both completely sober and there was no loud, pulsing music interfering with our conversation, like at a bar or club! Hmmm... I might have to try this again when I go to the supermarket tonight...

I guess I shop at the wrong grocery store. I never see any cute guys there. Hmmm... come to think of it, I can't really remember seeing any guys not old enough to be my grandfather...
Oh, I take that back. Once this guy was flirting with me and pulled a dollar out of my son's ear. LOL he was only old enough to be my father. heheheh

LOL Pale. Come to think of it he did... In case anyone cares, here's an update. So I went out with that guy again this weekend. Very sweet and nice and polite and everything. But I'm kinda thinking I might be more in love with the idea of what he could provide... and his new BMW... I also went out with a different guy last night. We had a little more fun... but we also ran out of stuff to say... So now what? How can you run out of things to talk about the first date, and then see each other again??? But I like his personality, and he is definitely cute...
