Mr. Misogynistic,

May I suggest that blurting out your plan just to clam her up may NOT be the very best way to begin down the road to matrimony.

Here's one for ya - I thought I had a great date lined up, made reservations at a nice restaurant, made sure to communicate the date & time and where we would meet...the whole deal. Well, I get home one evening and there's a message on my machine: "Hi, it's (insert name); I thought we had plans for dinner at six and it's almost six-thirty, I'll give you another ten minutes..." And then the second message (slightly angrier than the first): "Hi, it's (insert name) again; I just found out that the restaurant has your reservation for next week, but if you get this message and would like to join me I'll just have a glass of wine..."

I didn't get the message until two hours later.

Needless to say the original plans never worked out...

Would you please stop with the misogynist jazz. I totally love chics. I am just blowing off steam because I am experiencing a rough patch in the relationship. I have no true intention of killing the plan I have in mind. But she does get irritating with the harping I must admit (and she knows it too).

Yeah, it was a bummer, 'cause I really had been looking forward to a nice evening. But what totally killed it was that aggravated tone of voice like it was my fault for not showing up after she got the date wrong!

Do you really want to start involvement with anyone who lacks understanding, as this gal did? Sounds to me like fate (and she) did you a big favor, and you are worth better than that. Don't let it sour you at all. Right woman is out there for you. She'll be along when the time is right, in the interim, just enjoy yourself.

Off topic a bit, but Banff and Lake Louise are unbelievably gorgeous. Have you been up there before?

Sure have. Best trip I have been on to date.

I have countless pics of Banff --> Lake Louise, Lake Minnewanka, The Valley of the 10 Peaks and Lake Moraine, Two Jack Lake, various wildlife, The Columbia Ice Fields, Mount Assinboine, Jasper----> Medicine Lake, Athabasca Falls (Athabasca not up yet), Maligne Lake (the most beautiful of all that I saw), again various wildlife in Jasper, British Columbia.

If you have a Myspace, you can see them, as I'll shoot you my site in a PM. If you do not, then I have to figure out how to grant non-Myspace users access (that might be why DQ can't see them too).

In all honesty DQ, I am so new to this MYSpace stuff that I would not have known. It strikes me as more of a teens/early 20's thing than for people of our generation. I am still learning how to utilize it.

I don't think MySpace allows non-users access to pics. They can see your basic profile (if it's not set to private), but nothing else without registering for an account. Also, only users added to your friends can leave comments, and you can choose to change the settings on your albums if you only want your friends to view them.

Yup. I dunno but I had a good laugh from it. When I tried to reply, the message said I had no access etc. Then I went back in and posted again after they had deleted it.

I disagree...if it had said "everything I need" I would agree. But, I want $10 million dollars, not to have ever put my kids through a divorce and the body I had at 20 (including no stretch marks). Pretty sure God's going to tell me "too bad" on those.

On a positive note...I don't have any dating troubles...my BF is wonderful. My ex husband even said so today. Now that's saying something.

It's about time there Jen, I'm glad that I dont have to come up with a name for the boyfriend.
