Continued prayers here as well. Just hope and pray they figure out what is going on and are able to treat it quickly. Prayers for all of them.

I have been out of state and have just gotten this news. Although I am not a regular poster, please know my wife and I are praying for you all. May you sense clearly the love and grace of God around you.

Talked to Mama Bear a little bit ago, Papa Bear is doing much better and they hope he can go home today! So WHEW.

Add my prayers to the list, I am grateful they are heading home as that is a very positive sign. God is truly testing their family, their strength is amazing.

All good wishes for good health to the Bear family.

Natalie's website today said that Daddy is still in the hospital and now they think it might be viral meningitis. Prayers still going up for all of them.

Thanks for the update, doodles. Prayers are still coming from Central GA for the family.

It's not good that he has it, but thank goodness it's not bacterial! Prayers from Idaho again.

EGB, I was so not me when you called... actually I was, just a different version of myself the "Hospital Mamma Bear - task manager" version.

Jason is still in the hospital.
But I am at work for a few hours.

Like I told KIWI, PL, and EGB this morning, I really really thought on Saturday, well, that I, was kissing Jason for the last time before that ambulance ride.

Super scary.

For now, we know that it was not a stroke, an aneurysm, or a tumor.

The doctors at this time are still saying that it is most likely viral meningitis (not sure why they waffled on this but whatever), but until the spinal tap results come back he's staying where he is.

Thanks so much for posting the update MOPNB and please keep us posted when you can. Nothing but prayers and good thoughts headed your way. You know how much everyone here on BOL Land cares about your family.

Oh Becca. So much to deal with. I pray that Jason continues to get stronger and that he is able to come home soon. Praying for all of you - for strength and healing. You are one special lady and have had to deal with so much. We are thinking of you and praying for your whole family.

Dear Becca, so much for you to deal with! 'They' always say God never gives you more than you can handle but maybe it's time for Him to spread that around elsewhere. I'll say my prayers that He gives you guys peace and healing and keeps illness at bay from all of you for a good long stretch of time...say...years, please God.

We are all home...but not for long. We're headed to Eagle River WI, land of no cell phone coverage for some much needed relaxation!

I am so glad to hear daddy is up for going fishing! And I can't wait to see pictures of what to me is unbelievable. A Barbie(tm) fishing pole!? I thought Barbie told Ken he wasn't allowed to go fishing :p
