Are there any CRA/Fair Lending conferences scheduled this year? Which ones should I put in the budget for 2008?

PCI's Fair Lending has one in Dallas in September that I know of.

I think PCIs conference is in San Deigo.

There is going to be a conference on September 18th in Dallas at the Federal Reserve Bank on CRA/Fair Lending. The regulators are putting the conference together. You can find the conference on http://www.frb.gov. There was a limit of 40, but it is possible there could still be space available.

It's there one in Houston also...?

OH! I'd rather go to San Diego than Dallas!

I noticed that it mentioned small or small to intermediate size banks. I wanted to attend in Dallas, but I don't think our bank would qualify, as our asset size totals $8 billion. If there are other CRA conferences that anyone is aware of that are coming through the pipeline please let me know.

I think you should look into the PCI conference in San Diego. They do a great job and there is a lot of info for large banks.

The PCI Fair Lending Risk Assessment in Dallas has been cancelled.
