Does anyone have any specific info or where I can find info on the Pa electronic lein program? We are looking into this at my bank and also have heard rumors it will be mandatory soon.
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Is this for titled items or UCC Financing Statements filed online? If it is UCC, see this link for more information.

The Pennsylvania legislation, known as House Bill 804, became law July 10, 2006. The Act requires compliance within two years from the date of signing. By July 10, 2008, all lien holders must use the ELT system in Pennsylvania. ELT is also known as a paperless title or e-title.

If you do a google search on electronic lien titles pennsylvania you will be provided with several references. Our bank has received no official word from the Commonwealth of Pa on this new requirement.

Please note this is for vehicle titles not home titles.

There are many states that have electronic titles, but Pennsylvania is the only state to make it monitory. Electronic mortgages are just around the corner.

Our bank has just signed up for the Electronic Liens on Titles program. We were wondering if we can charge the customer a processing fee to cover our out of pocket expense on these loans?
