Do any institutions maintain a separate investment policy/procedure for CRA Investments?

While you don't need a separate policy or procedure for CRA investments, you clearly need a CRA investment strategy. This doesn't have to be anything in writing, but there needs to be a consciousness about where a bank's investment dollars are going. Without some strategy, a bank is leaving its investment test rating to chance, which could result in a less than satisfactory rating for investments. AR.

In a prior life, I had one (which I do not have a copy of). It primarily covered what our goal was, the types of investments we would consider, and who had to approve those purchases, which was different that other bank investments.

At a previous bank I created a policy and procedure for donations. BOD wanted to keep tabs on where the money was going and I needed a way to get all the documents together to prove CRA credit. Is this what you are looking for? I can go through some old stuff to find it.
