As part of my effort to clean out my in-box before going on leave, I was wondering if anyone had any information on the following states & their predatory lending laws?

Arizona
Tennessee
Missouri
Utah
Minnesota
Oklahoma
Hawaii
Massachusetts (revised)
Washington state
Vermont
Connecticut (revised)
Rhode Island
New Hampshire
Illinois (revised)
Maine
Alabama
Nevada
Oregon

I've checked MBA and Butera Andrews, of course, but was wondering if anyone (esp someone living/working in one of the above states) had any breaking news.

The two that I have as 'dead' are Indiana and Louisiana. And I have the following as in-coming:

Kentucky - June 23
Arkansas - July 16
New Jersey - December 7 (but already being looked at for revision)
New Mexico - January 1 (but already being looked at for revision)
South Carolina - July 1 2004

Any others that anyone knows of? Thanks!!

Whoops, Maine is in place. Any others that anyone knows of would be appreciated!

AND I just heard unofficially that Tennessee is dead as well. Slowly but surely the list narrows......

Just to confirm that IN HB 1481 and SB 478 are in a coma, but wiil probably be resuscitated in 2004.
