I'm preparing my Bank's most recent CRA Performance Evaluation to be distributed to the branches and note that the regulation states the "public section" of the evaluation goes to them. Since the entire report goes into the Bank's CRA Public File, what part of the report is considered to be the "public section" that is distributed to my branches ?? Thanks for advice.

Curled up by the fire...
Well the entire evalution is available to anyone via the FDIC's website...just don't put your performance context out there (the one the bank prepares)

just a suggestion, instead of making copies for all the branches, if you have an intranet system just put the exam on the intranet and let your branches know it is there.

You can also place a link to the FFIEC website so each branch can download both the HMDA and CRA disclosures. Be sure to include the instructions and bank number in the instructions. Our OCC examiners have allowed this. This will not have to be changed each year when the new HMDA info is released.
