We are just finishing out CIP policy and thank you BOL, we did some cut and paste from the sample provided in the TOOLS section. Now that we are nearly done with that process, the next step is training. Any suggestions on how to get the word out. We were thinking of writing a memo explaining briefly what CIP is and then just adding some bullets about definitions and required ID and notices. We would have this go out to the branches and have a sign in sheet returned for evidence of training. Also, we are explaining that CIP is taking the place of KYC. Any comments or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

This is what we did:

New accounts - Had a meeting to train and implement this program back in Feb or March. New accounts has been using this format and we have achieved some great goals.

Lending - Due to the lending staff being so difficult. We will be training the lending staff in a loan officers meeting then completing training for the processers. They have always been the ones I can count on.
