Just read an article on the return of '80's fashion as evident in the music industry and some of the fashions at the Grammy's. What do you think about 80's Fashion? What did you love and what did you hate?

This is not a good thing. The 80's were such a fashion failure - big hair, big shoulder pads in everything, leg warmers, disco ARGHHHHH!

My first thought when I read this was, "Oh, God." And the sad thing is I was born in 83.. I can't remember most of the 80's!


I just want the hair bands back!

I graduated from high school in 1987, so I'm very much an 80s child. And, as far as I'm concerned, most 80s fashion should not be resurrected.

Long sweaters with tights is about the only thing I remember from the '80's that I remotely liked. I hate shoulder pads and big hair.

I am so out of the loop when it comes to these things.

Although, it explains the strange looks I get in my nut hugger acid washed jeans.

I'm having horrible flashbacks for some reason.

All I really remember from the 80's was my Debbie Gibon hair and layering multiple pairs of socks on purpose. There is no way that I'm doing that again.

Why does this have to be the decade that repeats itself? 607's,70's, even 90's would be a whole lot better than the 80's. I'm just glad that I was born in the 80's and don't have to remember anything about it. clothes, bands, hair...yuck!

80s alternative was awesome, The Cult, The Smiths, REM, English Beat, PIL, Souishe and the Banshees, Modern English, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Police...

My teenage daughter's theatre group just did Footloose on stage. As we were sitting in the audience watching the prom scene, my best friend leans over and says "Didn't you wear that same dress to your prom?" Talk about a scary flashback!

I remember piling on the rubber bracelets like I was Madonna, wearing neon socks, rolling my jeans, putting friendship pins on my shoelaces - I will not be bringing any of those styles back.
