Federal and state law mandates several notices that must be conspicuously displayed in the bank's public areas. I am wondering if this applies to other non-branch offices. For example, our commercial lending group is located in a separate office from our branch. The office has a small entranceway (lobby) that you need a key to enter. This office does not get walk-in customers and very infrequently may have a loan customer visit with a lender. Should we post the 5 lobby posters in this office? In addition, we have an LPO in a temporary location that will eventually be a full branch when a site is found. We have posted all 5 lobby posters at the LOP but are they needed? (Equal Housing Lender poster, the Fair Lending Notice, the HMDA Notice, the CRA Notice, and Year-end Financial report notice.) Thank you!

I believe only our EHL poster was required in our LPO's. This will largely depend on whether your facility is considered a "branch" or not..which an LPO is not, therefore CRA and HMDA would not apply.

Banker Tools, http://www.bankersonline.com/tools/tools.html has a signage section. Some of those workpapers available include cites and descriptions such as "if deposits are accepted" and you can use that to assist you as well. You can review that and then ask yourself, do they ever accept deposits, etc... and post accordingly.
