Three. Don't much like most of their 80s stuff, but their 70s stuff was cool. I even have a Philip Bailey Greatest Hits.

Must of brain cramped, Bartman - although I truly wish they would just play a recording of Harry singing it and ditch the celebs. Maybe they could just prop up a Harry mannequin up there and sway it back and forth!

This is going back awhile, to the late seventies. But I remember one summer that all that was on the radio was music from the movie 'Grease'. If I remember correctly, from the movie, there was actually a song about summer, but I can't remember the name of it.
There were so may songs in that movie, it seems like they took up a whole summer.

Is the first one that comes to mind, but I'm sure Oliva Newton-John and John Travolta did some too.

Remember Diesel's song from about 1981 or 1982: Sausalito Summertime? What a great guitar riff for a pop song. That is a top down, driving down the freeway kind of song. If I wrote Red Red Wine..they're forgetting to send me the royalties! Pat Benetar...Hit me with your best shot. Must be played at FULL volume while cruising  It was kind of a highschool summer thing. I can't ever listen to the song without turning it way up...which always starts a ruckus in the office

In the spirit of the warm weather, It was close to 75 here yesterday. I enjoyed driving home, with the windows rolled down, and listening to (what else) "Girls in their Summer Clothes" by Springsteen. I cannot wait for another Jersey Shore summer!
