There's obviously some connection with the fact that the most common answers are comprised of 6 letters - if you spell them correctly. Carrot, Tomato, Squash. Still don't know what that says for the others though!

Just to confirm I'm not remotely normal, I thought of ocra. But probably because I've been teasing people about it lately. And yes...this confirms it...I'm not normal...but then was there any question in the first place? My first thought was actually Orange, because I had one for breakfast, but I quickly scrolled back up and tried to remind myself oranges aren't vegetables. (I really don't care for many vegies...which really sucks because I'm trying to go vegetarian 5 days a week).

Carrot, But the tomato vs tomatoe got me to thinking. Were some of us taught one and others were taught the other way? Was this maybe a regional thing? Or did Quayle and some of us have the same teacher?
I know things change over time, like certain words that weren't real words when we were in school --"That's not in the dictionary, it's not a word!!" Now they are in the dictionary!

I went to school in New Zealand and that's how(Tomatoe) is still spelt in the books there. Of course there are other spelling anamolies between the British and American "English" that facinate me!!! By the way, I thought of an egg - vegans think it is a vegetable!!!

After the vegetable "six", my first thought was Avocado. (by the way, OCRA is the Optional Credit Reporting Act. Okra is the vegetable)
