PODs on sole props?

Answered by:

Question:
Can a sole proprietorship have a pay on death?
Answer:

It is a matter of state law. Check your state statute and see if it is permissible. Most signature card contracts are not set up to put a trust on a business as beneficiary. So this would be something to work out with your attorney.
