ATMs Take a Hit from the Cashless Trend

In the wake of branch closures to cut costs and to meet the growing demand for 24/7 accessible banking, ATMs were on the rise from 2015 to 2019, when the number of ATMs in the U.S. shot up from 434,000 to 470,000 (an 8% increase).
