I absolutely cannot stand Tatiana!! There is nothing appealing about her. I do like Danny (widower guy) and I thought his friend had more talent than Nathaniel (headband guy's name I think) I do think there are some good voices that were chosen. I thought I would smack Simon, though, when he kept harping that Paula and Kara was not choosing the attractive blonde girl intimating they did not choose her because she was pretty. But hey, the best thing about their choices is that Bikini Girl is not among the top 36!!

... Since he doesn't bother to wear glasses that had the creepiness of his eyes, he'll turn off a lot of voters. That was tactful...

Tatiana! If you're a guy, can you imagine what it would be like to go out on a date with her. You would either abandon her on the side of the road, or go stark raving mad if you stuck it out. The way she screamed and laughed (if you can call it that) as she ran down the hallway was simply mind blowing. Are there really people like that in this world or is it just an act?

Bugs, I am wondering if it isn't a bit of an act, or at least if she is exaggerating it a bit. I noticed Wednesday night that when she left the room after the judge's decision, she was moderately "laughing" (if you call it that), then she glanced to her right, where the camera was, and then just exploded with her "laughter" when she saw it there. I watched it again last night (had recorded it for my son who didn't get to see it all on Wed.) and she definitely has an awareness of where the camera is at all times.
As much as I can't stand her, her obnoxiousness seems to be working for her. I would say she has as much or more name recognition than any other contestant remaining in the competition. She has certainly had more air time than most.

I heard 1 of the final 36 was let go due to conflicts of interest, will she be replaced?

Pale, I think she has already been replaced by one of the other contestants who didn't make the top 36. I think it's another woman, but I don't know her name.

I'm not sure someone can TRY to be that obnoxious. I don't know how she could even have friends like that. It's called editing.

I know you consider yourself an expert on everything American Idol, but *your* inexperience is showing, B_F. Paula Abdul does not act like a professional on Amercian Idol.P.S. I'm sorry if this post offends you, but your arrogance about something you obviouly know nothing about is simply breathtaking. You're right, neither I, nor the contestant Jackie Tohn, know anything about this. Just so you know, she said "The goal is to get Ms. Abdul up on those feet!" Boy, those contestants must really hate it when she "disrespects" them like that.

This is going to be a season where we lose a lot of good singers before we get to the top 10.
Jackie Tohn - I love that song, but she killed it! And not in a good way. She's unique, she's interesting, but a poor song choice just killed her chances this year.
Ricky Braddy - You know, I love Elliot Yamin's version of that song, and Ricky sounded quite different, but I enjoyed it. There might have been a few too many runs for my taste, but the fact is, he's good enough to be a wild card if nothing else. It's too bad that there are so many guys in his group that are really good.
Alexis Grace - Is she the first blues artist to grace the stage of AI? The fact is, I normally hate people who do the whole pink hair thing because it looks stupid to me. But she pulls it off. And, she had a great tone to her voice, hit every note, and had fantastic harmonies with the backups. She's definately a contender.
Brent Keith - He's a local boy, and I'd route for him if he got through, but with Ricky Braddy, Anoop Desai, Michael Sarver, and Danney Gokey all competing for the one spot (maybe 2) for guys from this round, he's in trouble. The good news is, if he does pull off getting into the top 12, we can pretty much guarantee he'll have a good career as a country artist. If Bucky can do it, and Kellie Pickler can do it, anyone can do it! That being said, his only hope is that every country fan picks him and votes tonight.
Stevie Wright - Stevie WRONG! So wrong! I loved her original audition, but that was the worst song choice she could have made. My only question is, at 16, in the top 36, can she repeat next year or a few years from now when she's older and wiser in her song choices?
Anoop Desai - I love his voice, and I felt emotionally connection with the song as he sang it, but was he good enough? Could two guys become wild cards from this group?! Doubtful, which is too bad, because someone very good will be cut, and it could be Anoop.
Casey Carlson - You know, I thought Jackie and Stevie blew it, but Casey really screwed the pooch with her sng choice. Singing a Sting/Police song is like singing a Whitney or Mariah song. You don't do it if you aren't SUPER, and Casey just wasn't. Crash, Boom, Siss, Goodbye!
Michael Sarver - It's too bad he is going to end up fodder under the big guys in this group, because I really do like him, and he does have talent. He's just not in the league of Danny, Anoop, and Ricky. But he definately has potential.
Ann Marie Boskovich - She's got talent, but she wasn't good enough in my opinion to move on. She didn't have the soul and emotion of Alexis Grace, or the range of Tatiana del Drama.
Stephen Fowler - They should have cut him in Hollywood. He's not as good as Danny's buddy was, and he picked the wrong song. Michael Jackson? Come on dawg, you're no Michael Jackson. Goodbye!
Tatiana del Drama - Ok, she's a drama queen, and she was crazy to pick Whitney, right? Or was she crazy like a fox? She really does have a good voice, and it's too bad she's been so unlikeable, or she could be a contender. That being said, she just might get through on the vote the worst vote if they want drama queen in the house.
Danny Gokey - I really like him, and he was very good, but the competition is so tough with the guys in this group. I wonder if a realization that the male talent this year was so far above the female talent made them change the format?
My prediction: Alexis Grace, Danny Gokey, and Ricky Braddy go through, with Anoop finding a way to get a wild card in the end.

I was so proud of Pauls through the auditions, staying all nice and coherent like... what happened last night??? Seemed like she was really struggling to stay 'with-it'.

Is it on tonight also?
I don't know any of their names yet.
Only that the 16 year old girl with the dark hair really sucked. I think she sang Miley Cyrus or something along those lines.
The chick with the pink hair was good. And the dude who went second and last were awesome.

I would agree with your predictions but that's because those are the ones I thought did the best. Unfortunately, the public often has their own quirky ideas of who is good (Ex. Sanjaya or however you spelled his name). I think those four have the most range and have likability. I'm just so afraid that we haven't seen the last of Tatiana I honestly don't see what type of career she could have. Nice voice but nothing special enough to give her star power. I was very disappointed in Stevie - I had high hopes for her but her song choice was dreadful. Too many of the others were just bad karoake - no imagination or artistry at all. Some good voices but they really blew their chance just like Simon said.
