Has your organization reimplemented a mask policy at the teller line or for face-to-face customer service? I'm trying to convince management that "It is time" from a Security perspective.

What do you mean a "mask policy"? Aren't you about 3 years late if you are talking about face masks?

@RlCarey, I'm wanting to relive olden times where you didn't wear a mask to the bank. It makes identifying suspects in video very difficult. I'm curious if other institutions have reverted back to that as an option or of the 'new norm" is to allow it.

Visa, This may be a bit of a unique circumstance but I have several friends whose physicians still require them to wear masks. (two have diseases that make them naturally imuno compromised - not sure if I spelled that right) several are going through chemo/cancer treatments. At my bank we will allow people to continue to mask. If a non customer comes up in a mask to cash a large check, we will ask them to either lower the mask briefly for ID or come through the drive where they can remove it. That being said, our client base is older so that does impact our decision making.

Pulling people out of the ditc...
we ask them to lower momentarily when they step up to the window for ID purposes. of course, so many that wear one now do so with their nose exposed, but i'm too tired to even point out the pointlessness...

Like Happy, we require the consumer to pull down the mask momentarily. Given that our branches still have a plexiglass partition between the teller and the consumer, it is not an unreasonable requirement.

On a stage near you
And now we're in the "wintery" season in the Midwest; here comes the masks AND the hoods!

I have never had an issue asking someone to remove their hoods as they enter the branch.
