A checking account is opened with both a parent and a minor on it. The parent wants the checks to show only the minor's name. Can that be done or is it required that the parent be named on the checks, also? I have done a search on this and have had no luck in finding a previous thread.

If I own an account with my wife and don't want my name on it, isn't that my business? The only requirement that I can think of is that whatever name(s) is/are on the check must be an owner - if you are allowing the minor to be an owner, I don't see the problem.
