Love, love, love the Hershey's choco. eggs. Can only get them at Easter; but for the best milk chocolate, it's got to be Hershey's. For other holidays, all I can get are those sticks filled with Hershey-ettes. (Sorry, no sharing here.)

Freeze your peeps. They get nice and chewy. . . .

LOL!! The next time I want to tell someone to "hold their horses", or "keep your panties on" , maybe instead I'll tell 'em "just freeze your peeps, will ya?"

I like the chocolate covered marshmallow eggs that come in a styrofoam container. Those, too, like peeps, have to be a little on the stale side so they are more hard chewy (opposed to gooey chewy). Oh, and black jelly beans are my favorite

I froze my easter egg (hard boiled) this year so I can win the easter egg bang off challenge! (A family tradition of a dear friend of mine who added me to the family when I became a single orphan in Alaska). You have to hit their egg on the end with the end of your egg. The last surviving egg wins a huge easter basket full of goodies that aren't remotely good for you (which we promptly give to the kids...after taking out our favorites). I think my rock hard egg might be the winner this year!

Last year the one I decorated with shellac (SEVERAL layers) and then spray painted with metal paint did really well

(This is a cheaters win only contest btw) LOL

They are cute but lets keep them on tv. That's where the hamster chick came from.

LOL ...I guess it is just cute the first few times you see it or hear it. I can't imagine having to deal with it full time!

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs. They come in packs for those of use who can't stop at one. Hershey's eggs are great but they have been bumped to #2 in my book since Dove's started making chocolate eggs. I have a bag each of milk and dark chocolate. Menopause heaven.

And what about Rainblo bubble gum eggs? Sugar high from just one.

I have found that many stores in my state do not carry the dark chocolate dove eggs. I have to drive for about an hour to get them. Just so you know, I always find the drive to be worth it. I just have to get an extra bag so that I still have one by the time I get back home.

I should wrap an egg in duct tape for my contest....But extra dressing is considered cheating (in the everything goes cheaters egg contest). Go figure!

Now that Easter is over, this will hopefully not be in to bad a taste. Not my site. I'm just reporting the facts.

Don't just look at the picture, read the story.

There are about 70 employees in the building where I office. We hid around 400 eggs filled with candy (mostly chocolate) early Friday morning, and had an easter egg hunt. When we told everybody what the plan was, there were many rolled eyes and unbelieving stares. After about 2 minutes though, all those 'adults' were acting like 5 year olds! It was a blast. Talk about an entire building on a sugar high!
