DQ, so sorry to hear he isn't doing better. Maybe the transfer is just what he needs. Hang in there and remember, Christmas is where you make it.

He is being moved to a rehab center for a couple of days, until his docs can get him scheduled at a different hospital for some vascular surgery. He is still in the same condition.

Prayers from PA DQ. I have been in your position with a critically ill relative at Christmas more than once and it is very difficult. Try your best to find something positive to treasure and remember about this holiday and make sure that you spend some time with him.

No, he is still in rehab, they scheduled vascular surgery for New Years Eve... so, he will not be home for Xmas. Hopefully the surgery wil help, but, it is a crapshoot at this point. Thanks for asking.
